What makes us Southern Miss athletics fans?

Is it the fact that we went to school there? Clearly no, because many graduates have come before us and show no interest in the teams or the games. Most of us went there, but not all.

Is it the fact that we give money to the Eagle Club? No, because many of our fans cannot afford to give, but are still fans. We give what we can.

Is it the fact that we attend most of the games? No, because many of our fans cannot make many of the games. But that doesn’t mean they don’t follow the teams, or care about the results.

We are fans because we have a passion for Southern Miss athletics. We feel the wins and the losses. While we often disagree on the path, we are all passionate about getting Southern Miss To The Top!

This is where Southern Miss fans come to openly discuss our feelings and opinions about the teams we love so much. Our passion is evident in our words.
